Wilkinson & St. Francis Mural, 20’x48’, 1998, acrylic on cement block. This mural was done entirely in lieu of trading for veterinary services and obtaining all fixtures, including shower units for the house I was having built. Children in the neighborhood came to help and be fed.
Durham Technical Community College 50th Anniversary Mural, 14'x64,' mineral coating on panels. Commissioned by the graduating class of 2008.
Eno River Mural, 1996 - 2014 Acrylic on brick, 40’x144’ It was located on the Penny Furniture Building, Durham, NC Many grants, many volunteers and a wonderful benefactor was found in the late Donald Penny. The Caktus Group bought the building and painted the mural over.
Wall Street Community Mural, 1998 Acrylic on cinder block, 32'x174' I wrote many grants to get this project funded. TROSA donated scaffolding and labor. I paid them by creating three murals with clients at their facility. The subject was decided on by the community of the Hayti Heritage Center. I hired David Wilson to be a co-creator. Located at Hayti Heritage Square, Durham, NC
